Housekeeper

Position Summary:

The Missouri History Museum seeks a full-time Housekeeper. The Housekeeper is responsible for daily assigned housekeeping duties at all of the Missouri History Museum's facilities.

 Essential Functions:

• Assist in set-up and take down of stage for Twilight Tuesdays, Naturalization ceremonies, and other special events
• Assist with outside cleaning and landscaping, including parking lots and trash cans
• Wash windows, clean restrooms, dust, and re-stock housekeeping supplies
• Deliver packages throughout and between buildings
• Complete Work Orders as assigned
• Assist Maintenance Department and other departments as directed  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years housekeeping experience required 
• Valid drivers license 
• Able to lift 70 lbs. 
• Works weekend and night events as scheduled

 Skills:

• Knowledge of correct use of housekeeping chemicals, supplies, and safe use of all housekeeping equipment (proper use scrubbers, buffers, vacuums on all types floors/carpet)
